Start with specialty compatibility, then inspect the passive conditions and useful stats. The largest base attack does not tell you whether an engine fits an anomaly or support plan. Compare alternatives using the same team and refinement assumptions; do not treat a signature engine as mandatory.

Check specialty compatibility before judging the passive. Base ATK, the secondary stat and the effect’s activation requirements are separate parts of a W-Engine. Compare candidates at equivalent upgrade and refinement conditions. A signature option can be strong without being mandatory for a functioning team; use the agent’s available alternatives and resource cycle to judge the next worthwhile investment.
