Attribute and specialty answer different questions: which damage you apply and how the agent contributes. Read the additional ability’s actual activation condition. Matching a label is less useful than confirming that the full squad activates its passives and covers the encounter’s needs.

Key mechanics

Attribute and specialty answer different questions. Attribute affects damage interactions and anomaly, while specialty describes the combat role and equipment compatibility. Read the actual Additional Ability condition for each agent. Some agents also have unusual damage or scaling rules, so an Anomaly label is not sufficient evidence that every critical stat should be discarded.
